Bothrops asper es una especie común en Costa Rica. Sin embargo, las zonas bajas del Pacífico Norte poco y con escasos registros la literatura. Aquí reportamos nuevas localidades de Abangares, Guanacaste, Rica.Bothrops asper, terciopelo, Viperidae, Abangares.
